You would think that opening day would mean a pretty good day of fishing.Well that wasnt the case today.I fished for about 2 hours in the morning fom the southwest side, and nodda.Didnt see anyone catch anything,I didnt even get a bump.Came back for the last couple of hours before dark and fished the southeast side and still fish werent biting.Brought a second rod this time, and started pitching gold blue fox spinners while I was waiting for something to take the bait on the other rod.I caught one 13 incher, and a never ending supply of milfoil with the spinner.
