Very interesting day. On the water about 1130 hrs to see if we could find some perch. Drop shotting in the 50 ft depths and could not find any perch on the finder so fishing "blind". Finally got a 12" perch but then the next two were cutts about 15 inches. Then nothing so we moved to another spot and fished from 45 ft to 75 ft with not even a hit. These are spots we usually do well. Returned to the first spot and partner, Paul, immediately hooks up with a big cutt he is holding. Went perch fishing - 4 perch, 3 cutts. Hmmmmmmm.

1 oz slab with dropshot set-up about a foot above tipped with perch meat, In case you are not familiar with the term "slab" it is like a Pt Wilson Dart. Has been a killer tipped with perch meat for big perch. I showed this in an earlier post in case you missed it.

Nice fish and the water looks like glass, at least you picked a good day to get out on the lake.
