The bite on Lake Chelan has been great!! We Fished both the Lower Basin and the Yacht Club Saturday and found both places to be very productive! The Ace Hi-Fly and Macks Lure Smile Blade combo has been my weapon of choice. We kept our baits right next to the bottom and tried to maintain a speed between 1.2 to 1.4 mph. Most productive depths seemed to be between 170 and 240 in the lower basin. Up at Yacht club we found several fish in the deep water... 270 to 350 feet deep. Huge thanks to Chad, Adam, and Sarah Gutzwiler for fishing with me this weekend!! There was no shortage of entertainment or fish on this trip and it made for a fantastic day on the water!!
