Went out for the derby this year me and a buddy only found 3 trout between the 2 of us. Not a bad day though 8 inches of ice with snow on top in most places with 35 degrees F.
I was jigging when I caught mine small glow jig with finesse trailer, he caught his on a moonjig tipped with spikes.
Good derby though with a lot of good prizes, top winner brought home 75.34" of trout in a 6 limit slot.
