We had a crazy day on Lake Chelan Sunday Morning!! It was so incredibly foggy in the lower basin that for 95% of our fishing trip we NEVER saw shore!!! We were operating completely off of the GPS on my sonar!! This, believe it or not, made the fishing a little bit challanging! We started fishing "somewhere" in the lower basin near the Trench. Luckily for us the fish didn't seem to mind the fog because we got right into a good bite. Our weapon of chioce was the baited Hi-Fly Smile Blade combo and it did the trick! We found most of our bites at depths between 180 and 240 feet deep trolling around 1.2 mph. I want to give a huge thanks to Peter Flohr from Hooked On Toys and his daughter Isabel for braving the elements with me today! We won't forget this trip anytime soon!

Hey Roguebear, yeah the yacht club and wapato point are some good places to get into fish. The lower basin of the lake has been pretty productive! As far as maps go your best luck might be at Kellys in the town of Chelan or Hooked On Toys in Wenatchee has a decent map of the lake. You can find some good pics and maps of the lake on google too. Good Luck!!
