Three of us ice fished Fish Lake February 12, 13, 14, 2013. Air temps were 41-55 F, water temp with the fish camera showed 34-36F, and ice depth varied around the lake 6" to 11". Nights barely got down to freezing and day temps made the surface mushy by mid day. Nothing like fishing in a hurricane all three days. Sustained winds 0-24mph! The second day we had a heck of a time erecting the ice shelter. K. ripped back two fingernails trying to hang onto the shelter while P. was hilarious trying to screw in the ice anchors. Wish we had a video. But was installed we were warm inside. But, the winds were so strong that later in the day the ceiling strut collapsed and hit me in the head cutting open the crown of my scalp. Blood should come from the fish caught, not me!

Fishing was tough. Apparently it was for most out there as everyone stayed out most all days and moved around like Nomads trying to find the fish. No limits caught. We only caught 2 perch, 1 trout and 4 sculpin for three people, three days. But we still had lots of fun and memories.
