First off this day was very hard to rate, I probably could have gone higher for the reasons that the weather was beautiful, I caught my first Lake Washington Cutt, even though catching was a little slow the fishing was great!
As most of you know I usually never fish anywhere but American but washingtonlakes member eenakok invited me out on his (new to him) boat and I could not resist. This boat is set up to catch fish and him and his dad have done a great job making sure everything is in just the right spot and it has just about everything you could want in a boat.
We were able to fish 4 poles all day because the boat has 3 downriggers and we ran 1 flatline.
We only got the one fish for the day but you cant say we didnt try. We used every combination of dodger, every combination of everything actually. We tried my normal kokanee setup, we tried my normal trout setup (which got the 16.5 inch cutt) we tried flatfish, apex, cut plug, flys, just to name a few. It was a great day for trying new things. Even with one fish to the boat we had an amazing day.
The fish I caught came from 30ft down in about 120ft of water. I was using a UV slingblade dodger and something that I tied up that is basicly just beads, 2 red hooks and a pink smileblade.
I am not real familar with the lake so I dont actually know what part I caught it in but we only fished 2 spots. The spot where I got the fish and then over by the floating bridges.
We fished every depth from flatline to 60 ft but marked most fish between 20 and 40 ft.
Again great day overall, would not mind trying the lake again when things heat up a little.
Thanks again eenakok for inviting me to go with you.
Cant wait for things to heat up a little everywhere so we can really start fishing
Good luck to everyone in their fishing adventures

I dont know if the pictures will work if they do one is me holding the 16.5 inch Cutt and the other is of the boat. It was pretty cool having 3 downriggers.

A clarification too, we had 4 poles in the water with 4 fishermen on board the boat.

Nice job Mike and glad you got your cutt! That boat is a sweet set up! Couldn't make it out as I didn't get home from work until after 5pm and would have got there too late! It was a beautiful day and sounds about right for this lake and you guys covered it all!
