I know they say the big one got away at times. but this is the second day in a row I lost a real nice fish. I got a new ultralight rod that is just tol imber for the 13 to 15 inchers Iv been catching latley it wont drive the hook in hard enough , will bring a stifer rod tomorow. I lost todays fish at the aqua theater useing a gold kastmaser it broke clear out of the water and it looked like a nice fish but that is all part of the game. to me it just means think over my stradegy. to the felow anger fishing the other end of the lake near the boat rentels Id like to recamend gold and coper lures not to small about 1/4 oz or no more then 2 inces long and maybe cast the banck and work your way to my end I will do the same. tword your side of the lake. its been not bad on the east side of the lake you should give it a try. I will try to submit a couple picts but keep in mind there frome last week. good fishin to evrey one I hope to see you on the shore.

Kastmaster = lost fish... my experience is that in average, for every 5 fish that you hook you bring in 1. This is because the bait is heavy and they can shake it out. However, the bite rate is so higher that it's worth loosing a lot, you still end up catching a lot. There are days when it just works fine and you don't loose a single fish, but then there are days where you hook and loose 10, 12 fish in a row...
