Green lake is red Hot. some more and a little biger trout were planted today, it was slow at first but soon as I tryd a 1/12 gold Kastmaster and jiged it, it was a quick limit. five fish in five cast but they would only hit it when it was falling. so if you go out tomorow and see that theres fish evry were and there not biteing. I recomend a very small lure, reel it in slow and quite often stop for five seconds and start reeling agin. that worked for me. and if your gona use bait I recomend worm or salmon egg or something small under a bober and try reeling slow once in a wile. have fun and enjoy!

Hey nice report, do you think green lake will be good Friday... Will the fish be really good close to the shore, and will power bait work, and what do you think about marshmallows on the regular trout rig. Are rainbow rooster tails any good?

I do think the fishin will be verry good friday, and by the the fish should be biteing marsh melows and dough baits but if your not haveing luck I would down size. there were peapol all around not catching fish because there lures were to big. I saw fish nudgeing at marshmelows but not takeing them and with my tiny kast master they would only hit it on the fall so if there not turnd on yet I would recomend going with very small baits even one or two salmon eggs on a size12 hook under a bober and slow retrive. the lake is full of fish there evry were! I hope that was helpfull to you get there early as posible and have fun! rainbow trout color rooster tails are great but at this time I would recomend as small as you got. or if you want to go for biger fish frome last year try 1/8 one with some juce on the tail and alot of long cast may even produce a big brown

I've fished these three amphitheater docks for the past fews nights with zero luck, but I was using an 1/8oz kastmaster so maybe I need to cut down my presentation size? All I know is not catching freshly planted trout is destroying my confidence. I see guys on the bank catching them off the bottom, but still fishing bores me to death. Hopefully this sunny "warmer" weather will activate the fish a little more than what I've been experiencing.
