from what i have found the day or two after high pressure moves in the fish just stop feeding. kokanee seem to be very receptive to weather changes. Low pressure moving in can turn the bite on most times

4/5/2013 10:55:00 AMHey Andy, Sounds like a good outing even though the kokes didn't cooperate. Cindy and I need to get out there soon and try for a few. We've found the kokes to be typically on and off during the early part of the run, and this year sure is early.--compared to the last few years anyway. from what I'm hearing from some of the locals it's a day by day fishery right now, and as was mentioned above they can be hypersensitive to weather changes sometimes. But anytime on the water chasing a fish is well spent. Yake care and be safe
