I fished the 3 species tournament both Saturday and Sunday. We had fished the previous weekend as well. All 4 days were very tough fishing. We would chart lots of fish but could not come up with any offers to make them bite.
The Tournament was called "are you Tough Enough" and the weathermade that true. We had 35 mph winds Saturday and then on Sunday a bit of wind along with 45 degree air and .60 inces of rain from launch to noon.
The Grand Coulee Chamber of Commerce sponsered the Tourney. A big Thank You to them. It was very well run. It will be the 3rd weekend in April in 2014. It is a good time, mark it on your calander, you won't be sad.
If I can post this picture this rainbow was 4.9 pounds. Caught on a small Rapala 10" behind a 000 bronze/Silver dodger pulled shallow and slow.
There were lots of fishermen out braving the weather along with the tournament boats, but they appeared to be there to pre fish for a bass tournament the 13th.
