I trolled three times between Moss Bay and Juanita Bay in the kayak trailing a spoon. There was one good hit near Juanita Bay but I lost it so I don't know what it was. The water temperatures felt about 45-50 degrees and a slight breeze. A few rain showers around 2PM or so did not last long and got me off the water.

After putting the kayak away I fished two hours from the dock and only managed one tiny trout. After speaking with two other guys fishing they reported nothing in the last week made it home with them... At least from this lake anyway so it must be slow. To land this tiny minnow I used a worm and two Gulp! eggs on an egg sinker setup with about a 24 inch leader of 10lb monofilament. The fish was all of about 10-12 inches and went back into the lake.

Cute little cutt you brought to the dock. The trout bite will be hit or miss as long as the weather continues to change at such a rapid pace. Once things stabilize, fishing will get more productive.

BallardBrad and myself were dragging spoons behind our kayaks in that same area the day before you were there. I landed a couple little trout, 12 and 16, let them go. Brad landed a nice and fat 3 lb coho in 25 feet of water, went back of course. That's a very good area that is loaded with bait right now. I'm wondering how many resident coho are lurking off Juanita Point. Only one way to find out.
