Fished Long Lake from shore sunday for crappie near Tum Tum with no luck for me. I needed some Sturgeon bait but all I caught was a 20" Northern Pike and seen a giant one swim by. Did see some crappie caught when I first got there. 4' ft under a bobber over 6 to 8ft using a purple and white is how they was catching them. I missed some I amsure but they are not very active. But they will he soon they are staging to spawn. The few that were caught were females with eggs. I will try during the week I need bait for this up coming weekend at Lower Granite.
