We worked the same pattern as yesterday, except we did not use outside rods at all. Just 2 downrigger rods. The bite was too hot. Fishing from 265 to 315 feet produced all the action with best speeds being 1.6 and 1.7 mph. We pulled Mack's Lures Cha Cha Squidders in glow colors baited with a piece of pikeminnow. As always, pounding the bottom is most effective, but we did have fish come 25 to 30 feet off the bottom to hit our squiddy's today. Perfect weather too!
