My brother and I hit the lake about 6:00 this morning in his new boat. We didn't get our first bite until after 9:00AM. I think the fish were as cold as we were. However, the fish were jumping all morning long. There must have been a hatch of some kind going on. We ended up catching (1) rainbow, (3) kokanee, and (1) cutthroat, and Bro out fished me 4 to1 :-). He had a small pink and chrome wedding ring he trolled behind a Hildebrandt double spinner that caught all four of his fish. We got off the lake about 1:30 and spoke with several other anglers at the ramp. They had caught one or two small kokanee, but only after fishing hard all morning. We are looking forward to hitting the lake again for we both thought that it was just coming on.
