I was going to fish LK WA with Tesla, but he was exhausted by fishing on Eastern WA. So, I decided to go to Eastern WA too and fish walleyes on the bridge dividing Moses Lake and Potholes. I came about 8PM and was amazed by amount of people at the spot, at least eight on each side standing shoulder to shoulder. Almost all people were Asian and only two were Ukrainians. I was even more amazed when I saw that as soon as somebody catches fish another Asian person comes out of car and stands on the empty spot. I speak Russian and it gave me a chance to have a favor of Ukranian people and stand on their spot :) when another local English speaking person had no chance to get into crowd but try to fish on a side where no fish but empty water with snags only. That person fished for a half an hour and left disappointed. I felt lucky but was disappointed by the boring way the fishing was done. I was bored and tired in advance thinking about whole night ahead of me just dropping and raising blade bait right under my feet. No science or art of fishing; just boring up and down.
I started talking to friendly Ukrainian person turning face and body to him and moving my right leg forward and fell in the current. I thought about grabbing someone while I was falling but realized that I will pull that person with me anyway because I weigh almost twice anyone on the shore. So, I had a free fall and swam to the shore.
So, my fishing ended as soon it started. :) I have good quality specialized fishing clothes such as Under Armour and Helli Hensen. I was able to dry out my clothes in the car in next two or three hours. However, my mood went below the lowest level and nobody was leaving anyway, no spot available. Only about five most Asian people left and I had an opportunity to try not my skills, there are no skills required, but luck before sun rose.
It was my experience, but I gave it 2 because two people on each side standing in certain spots, were able to catch some good fish. I would not advise anyone to go fishing there because you can catch same and even larger fish during the day, consuming less energy and no sleep deprivation, on Columbia river. Columbia river fishing require a boat, knowledge, and skill, but it would be much more fun!

Sounds like a rude place to fish. Hope enforcement pays attention to that spot.

It is basically snagging fish as they try to climb the raceway between the lakes. I've been there, done that, and its should be patrolled. I am not sure why it is allowed as most of the fish are hooked in the ass.

This place was patrolled twice during the night. People use blade bait with only one single point siwash hook. However, I have seen a few fish snagged, but released. Most of the fish is being caught in the mouth or under the chin.
It is a crazy place anyway. I would never go. It looks like a foodbank where people are standing in line to get free food.
