Worked hard today to get done and grab the Tin Cup in hopes of getting to American lake to take a shot at the 6500 1lb bows released and hopefully a kokanee or 2! I decided to try the float plane boat launch for a change to just see what it was like plus it puts you right in the place I caught the fat 18" kokanee last week. It's a nice launch but next time will save the $15 and go back to the Camp Murray launch to fish this lake! lol

Started my troll to the north using the wanna fish lure Orange thing tipped with pink gulp maggots and the other rod with a perch colored needlefish with some nightcrawler scent on it. The needlefish got the 1st fsih as I was turning towards
Bill's boathouse and put a nice fat 14" fish in the boat.

After that the next it got quiet so changed out the orange thing with a pee wee hootchie tipped with maggots and the other rod with my own tied one with a pink smiley blade. Using 1 1/4 ounces of lead made my way past Bill's when I got a vicious take down and landed another one of those fish and then it was non stop action as I made my way around the island with a few long line releases and a couple little guys who went back in

The highlight was when my one rods goes down and as I am bringing it in realize it is fighting differently so baby it in thinking it might be a kokanee. Sure enough it is! Got it into the boat and was a perfect way to get my limiit! Not real big but it's a koke!! Couldn't help but take a couple pictures of Mt. Rainier and then the full moon rising as I came off the water.

See you on the water!

Nice catch. I also noticed the wine glass in the sink. A glass of vino after a good day of fishing, nothing wrong with that!

Very nice, thanks for the report, think I'm gonna hit up American on Saturday. If you see a green zodiac out there, it's me, come say hi or wave. Maybe I'll catch a few of those rainbows as well, and hopefully some perch.

Thanks Mike, great meeting you too and hope we can hook up at Chelan that week. So after I left I put on that P-line pink dodger and your mini squid and had a fish on before I got past the island!

@larryw~ I believe they were released from the net pens that they raise on American Lake by Bill's boathouse but could be wrong
