Opening day is finally here! Headed out to the beautiful Bellingham Wa at about 7am arriving around 8am. The weather was not so great with wind blowing 10 mph. We fished anyways despite the angry wind and first cast out no longer than 2 minutes FISH ON!! 10 incher and beautiful. After re rigging due to line getting caught in trees from the wind we managed to limit out in about an hour. Padden is Hot for opening day as usual! Yellow and Chartreuse power eggs were the go to colors with added scent either shrimp or Anise UV. Extremely fun day and I hope you all can enjoy some spring fishing. TIGHT LINES
