This was a spring day to remember in conjunction with opening day of lowland lakes. Silver Lake was as smooth as glass until about 1:00 pm then a slight breeze came up. The campground was packed and so was the fishing dock. Lots of fish were being caught on many different lures and baits. I tried wooly bugger, dick nite wee type, tiny flatfish , worms plain and simple seemed to work well under a bobber. Caught 2 over 14 and went home.
