Got on the lake in the early afternoon with the fish slayer himself, aka tony, aka bassplayer17.

Went over and started working around the airorator, working staggered depths on the riggers as well as a flat line rod. Had a few drive bys and bumps for the first few hours but no solid hook ups. Finally hooked into what im assuming was a kokanee on the top water rod but never got to see it. Little bit later that same rod hooked a nice little trout.

After a good dull in the action we went and worked the east side in about 80 feet of water. jumpers everywhere along with large schools of fish showing at 10-20 feet. trolling and allowing the wind to push us tony's flat line rod doubles over "feesh feesh feesh!" but no dice! trolled into the wind and finally my flat line rod goes off with a scrappy koke the gets a date with the fish stringer! fished until dark without any more action.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH LAKE STEVENS?!?!?!

first to fish were caught on a Macks Lure Double D dodger with a Rocky Mountain Tackle Super squid, tipped with green gulp maggots and Pro-Cure Bait Scents shrimp supergel

first "boated" kokanee was caught on a clown Dick-Nite Dodger with a custom KokaneeKid Fishing spinner, tipped with pink gulp maggots with DNA scent

both where 30 pulls behind the boat with the double d set on the outside hole.

Rods- Lamiglas Jared Johnson red rods
Reels- Tica Caimen 100's with 8lb izor line
Water temp- 56*
Trolling speed- not real sure, dont think it mattered, no fish in that lake :)

Hey Steelheadin360, I'm thinkin' that KokaneeKid Fishing spinner is worth trying at Chelan this weekend! Or the Rocky Mountain Tackle Super squid in pink or orange if you've got'em.
