Had the boat in the water at around 1100. Fished for three hours or so. Didn't put a ton of effort in, as we mainly just went out to enjoy the sun while we have it.
No luck bottom fishing, but a mid size all silver Dick Nite sure did the trick. Started picking off the little planters doing a cast and slow retrieve. Just anchored up on the log sticking straight out of the water on the north end.
The battery for my trolling motor took a dump while we were on the north end. Paddling the sled back to the boat launch (against the wind, of course) with kayak paddles was fun. My fault I suppose. ADVENTURES IN BOATING.
