Took the family out to Coffepot Lake for Mother's Day weekend. My daughter and I were able to get to the lower lake for a little bass fishing. The fishing was great, saw and caught plenty of fish. Campers beware, we killed 16 rattlesnakes over the weekend. I have lived in Odessa since 2001, and I have never seen so many snakes in my life. Last Wednesday, a gentleman actually was bit and airlifted to spokane. Fishing is great but be careful.
