Took my brother up to Eloika on Sunday. We launched the boat and noticed that their were already 4 boats on the South end so we headed North. I stopped in a spot that always has Crappie and we started from there. Saw lots of Crappie sitting on beds and my brother started catching them right away while I was throwing a Senko. After a while the score was 9 - 0 so I figured I better change it up. Put on a 4 inch Green Pumpkin single tail grub and it was party time. He got jealous half way through the day and made me put one for him too. We were sitting by the last dock on the North end when all of sudden the bottom let loose all the bubbles around us for 50 yards. It was like the water was boiling. The whole area started and stopped at the same time. Very strange. Any guesses? Another cool thing we had put a grass hopper popper behind the boat and ended catching a crappie on it. Lots of action ended up with 10 Crappie, 1 Sunfish and about 25 largies. Biggest one was about 3 1/2. On a side note this is the fourth time I've seen this damn Gold fish or Koi. I try to catch him but he doesn't like plastics, maybe I'll go by the pet store and get some fish food. Also my brother was chewing Grizzly pouches (braces) and was doing just as good as me.
