Lake Ki was hot on Saturday. Everything was in the 10" range, but some of them were pretty fat.
C&R'd everything. All were solid lip hooks. None of them got ballsy and decided to gut the hooks, which is always nice.
Started off with trolling. I had some light pop gear with a wedding ring. Smaller night crawlers on the hook. My buddy was pulling a fly most of the time, though he did catch a few on a green/silver ~1.5" spoon. Everything we tried was equally as effective. The east shore seemed to have the most activity.
Oranger powerbait seems to work real good. Anchored up a ways out from the boat launch when our battery got low, and pulled a few more in.
Didn't snap any picture of the fish. You all know what a 10" RB looks like haha.
