Hello! New to the forum here... and fairly new to fishing as well. I've been fishing off a swimming dock in Lake Stevens when the weather isn't as good for swimmers. Finally caught a very large small mouth bass (put him back). He was 18" & I estimate to have been between 4 1/2-5 pounds. He was the biggest fish I have caught so far & I'm HOOKED! He jumped a lot, knew how to throw lures & wrap around the dock posts. It took a while to get him. Also cought a bunch of little trout (all too small so they went back in). I was using blue fox lures. The bass bit at the lures but it was the standard worm & hook that got him since he was hungry guarding his bed.
