Late report! Visited a friend down at Millersylvania State Park. We fished off the dock for about 40 minutes. Caught one stocker rainbow off of an orange power nugget. I gave the pole to my friend's four year old daughter to reel in. She ate the trout that night roasted over the camp fire. It was a fun time, and a great memory, but my blankety-blank camera died! Missign that photo was a big bummer. At any rate, Deep Lake is already mighty weedy near the shorelines. I'm sure the middle of the lake would prove productive though.
