5/29/2013 5:52:00 AMSweet fishing, how do you manage to bring those fish up from the high dock? Whereabouts do you park around there? I'm aware of the area south of the lake where the small businesses are, gotta be somewhere closer,...again, props!!

5/29/2013 7:04:00 AMThank you N E 1, I did get help with netting the large one, there was about a 3-4 foot space where the fish was only holding on by its hook before the net could reach it. It is not easy to bring in a fish from the high dock but the small ones you can just pull right up on to the dock if they are not spazing out too bad. I did see a father and son team work it where the father walked the fish down the dock toward the shore and the son was waiting with a net to get the fish... (Good system if you have a partner willing to run down there for you every time you catch a fish). I like the high dock because you can get your hook out farther into the lake. Without a boat its hard to get to where those big trout are. I usually park on 116th st. se. Normally I am heading northbound on highway 527 and then turn right onto 116th st se where the first property on the right has an abandon house. I park right on the street in front of that house then cross the street and your at the dock. Not hard at all. Good luck!
