Wow, the rain finally lifted after a horrible 4 day weekend of drizzle, or at least any time we had to get away to the lake it was raining so i never got the boat out anywhere with my son while he was on school break :( . Yesterday It still looked like rain was in the air so i opted to not take the boat out and just head down to Green Lake solo to my favorite dock close to home.. the fishing was still slow as the week prior but the lake was calm and quiet, like the quiet before the next storm.. I managed to get a couple small sized trout to the dock in the hour or so i was there before packing up and hitting a couple more local north seattle lakes (for another report)
