I got skunked on this little lake a couple times, but I finally got a fish on the line. Yep, he's a tiny one (of course my large hand and the camera angle and the lighting all make him look smaller…really…he was a fighter!) So what makes this dink bass fishy special? Well, he was the first one I have caught with a plastic worm (6" Senko on 2/0 hook), so this little guy proved to me that it can be done – I've only ever used plugs before, and there is not much finesse needed where treble hooks are concerned. So based on that I rated this day a three. There are certainly some bigger bass to be pulled out of this nice little fishing hole, although be prepared to also pull a lot of weeds off your bait and to unhook from the lilly pads frequently, even with a so-called weedless rig. Saw some other folks out here doing well on either crappie or perch.
