Fished Alder. Wanted to skip opening day mayhem on the rivers. Weather was great with great views. Never fished Alder before. Got out a little before six. Launched at Alder Lake Park. Trolled until about 11 with one bite and two fish. One trout and one koke. Tried at several depths with down riggers. Finally took all the poles off down riggers and switched to 1 ounce of lead. Instant fish on. Bite was good for us until we had to leave at 3. Still biting, but had to go. Seems hot orange blades were the color on a wedding ring. Piece of corn on the hook. No corn then no bite. Didn't want a piece of worm either. The corn seemed to be the key. 30 pulls seemed to be the answer also. Nothing over 12, but good fun. You seem to get about 1 in 6 to the boat, so be prepared to lose a lot.
