Saturday ended up being a good day for pike fishing on the chain lakes. Myself and a friend fished all day, with most of our time spent in Cave Lake and Killarney. We caught 14 pike and 4 large mouth bass and had many other chances to catch more. Unfortunately the average size was quite small, with the biggest pike a little over 4 lbs and the biggest LMB at 3 lbs. That was my best pike fishing day since the Pend Oreille River netting started. Good times!
