6/12/2013 10:27:00 AMGreat report, and cute picture! I am hoping to get out on Father's Day for a pike outing. Can I ask what area of the lake you were fishing? We are moored on the north end, was thinking of working Cougar Bay near our marina and have had luck in the back of Mica Bay, but also have access to a boat mid-lake @ Rockford Bay.

6/13/2013 8:33:00 AMI typically fish on the south end. I'm thinking I might make a run up north this weekend to see how it compares! It's hard to leave fish to find fish, but it's fun to explore new water. I don't think you could go wrong with any of those bays. I would suggest finding the shallow water in the back of those bays if they're in the same condition as areas to the south. That's what I'll try on Saturday if it works out. I've been keying on weedy areas, so bring something weedless! Good luck on Father's Day... I hope you knock 'em dead.
