Launched out of the back bay off medicare beach at around 9 am to head up crab creek for walleye.Medicare beach had some serious boat traffic going on so out came the leadcore rod armed with a size 65 perch cultiva rip n minnow.Let out 3 colors,and set trolling speed around 3 mph.I no longer place the rod in the holder when it buries hard stripping line.After a few good runs I net a nice 4 lb rainbow.Start letting out my line again,and before I could get out all the way my plug takes another whack,which results in another nice rainbow.All in the 1st 10 minutes of fishing.Out goes my offering again and in a few minutes another whack and another nice rainbow,and then yet another repeat resulting now in 4 fish all between 3-4 lbs.When you are trying to get that 5th fish it seems like its an eternity.I lose 3 fish in a short period of time.Figuring the fish are a little further down in the water.I let out more leadcore and finally # 5 comes to the net.
