Arrived at the lake approx 1:00 PM and decided to fish the area north of the big island. My son and I were trolling Carey Specials on intermediate sinking fly lines and within 10 minutes of launching had the first fish. Shortly after that we took multiple strikes that were light hits and although the fish was initially hooked, within minutes the fly came out of the fish. We fished this area for approximately 4 hours catching 4 fish and loosing at least that many before deciding to drift down to the south end of the island. There we once again we took a couple of fish all of which to this point were between 15-17 inches. As the sun began to set behind the cliffs and the evening wore on, the fish got more aggressive and we then caught 3 fish which were 22, 23 and 25 inches. We quit about 8:00 PM having caught 11 fish total.
