Man, it's been too long since we were on the water this year. One of us had an appointment which shortened our fishing day, but some is better than nothing! We fished 11-3. The weather was partly sunny, little wind and water temps averaged 67 degrees.

The bass are finally moving. We saw more than we caught though. The trout are still active and provided the most action of the day. In fact, the trout were hitting like freight trains and felt bigger than they were.

K. boated one nice largemouth. I boated 3 bass (the largest bass of the day) and 2 trout. P. boated six trout (the largest of the group - 17.25 inches) and 1 sunfish. He da man.

Until next time....
