Got out early to hit Haller. Been wanting to check this lake out for awhile and was going to go out on it Monday afternoon but it was crowded with kids swimming so I waited till a quieter time. Accessed off of 130th and Meridian. A small little path to the water but other than that was easy to put the kayak in. Started out fishing for bass tossing rapella's and spinners around the pads and docks. Caught maybe a dozen Largemouth, a couple rock bass and even a perch. Problem was nothing bigger than 6 inches. Decided to give trout a try by trolling a spinner in a little deeper water and hooked up with a 12ncher that made for a nice breakfast. Small little lake with houses surrounding the whole lake except for two small public access spots that are not easy to find.
