As the season unfolds the fishing takes a little more time. Its a good thing that I have a comfy seat in my boat. Like last week the the fish seemed to hit on a sinking tip line more than any other presentation. Also, a light olive woolly bugger with a quasar flash body rigged behind a smile blade was definately the ticket. I did pick up a number of little guys and even a small pan fish, eventually the fish chain was festooned with five rainbows,...............but it took awhile. It's almost time to start hiking into the mountain lakes a fish for Brook Trout.
Bottom line, didn't get skunked.
