I have been driving past this lake for my whole life and always been intimidated by its fly fishing only rules and my inexperience. I decided to give it a try last Sunday since the river were blown out. Stopped at pacific fly shop got a quick how to and sinking fly line with a few Wolly buggers. My dad and I got to the lake at 530 and started to slowly troll the buggers. Though out the next 5 hours we landed 5 (me) and had countless missed strikes and barbless acrobatic fish issues. It was a great day and I can't wait to be back.
