Got a bit of a late start, hitting the water around 1000am. There were a few shore line fishers at the launch having some decent results. We started fishing along the eastern edge of the lake in the paddies, grass, docks, and overhangs. We had fairly good results from the start with silver blue fox spinners landing perch and bows in the 8-10 and 14-16 range. We could visualize many bass, including a quite impressive sized one along some overhang and logs, bit none were ever interested. Upon our return, it appeared the shore line fishers at the launch were still having good results. They were bottom fishing with powerbaits and others with some pretty good results.
Overall, a great sunny day on the water!
