We went out still fishing in the evening for some Rainbows. Got to the fishing hole at about 7:15. Setup were slip sinker with about 4 to 5 feet of leader and power bait. Picked up a couple of nice 12 and 13 inch fish with in the first 15 or 20 minutes. Missed a few nice bites.
Then my wife had a really nice fish on, it made a couple of runs and then I know it was a good size fish. She finally got it close to the boat and I knew it was a fatty. It went under the boat and I thought it had wrapped around the anchor rope, but then came back around and took another short run. then was able to get him in the net. It was nice 18 inches. Beautiful Fish.
Great evening on the water. We ended up with 8 fish all average about 12 to 14 inches and the nice 18 inch. Headed back to camp at around 8:45.
