I tried some fishing at Carlisle Lake. It was clear and warm, with a little wind blowing. The fishing calendar rated it a poor day. I got a late start and got there at 8:30 in the evening. I counted 8 other people fishing around the lake and 2 trolling. I caught 3 trout and missed one lunker. I did not catch any of those fingerling trout at all. It looked like other folks were doing pretty well also. The bite was pretty consistent. I was using Powerbait Power Eggs off of the bottom.
