The girlfriend and I thought it would be fun to go hiking for the 4th. So we looked up a few easy hikes and Lake 22 was listed as both beautiful and full of fish, so it was an easy choice. After the hike in, we got to the lake and could immediately see small trout in the outlet stream of the lake. We hiked around to the far side of the lake to try our luck in deeper waters for larger fish, but to no avail. While the fish were not cooperating, the hike was absolutely awesome and I would recommend it for anyone. Who knows, the fish may like you better.

Size one panther martin in a natural color, my favorite is black with yellow spots body, gold blade.

The smaller fish gobble em up, and from what I remember about 22, is that they're all smaller fish!

I don't think you'd get much luck off of power eggs, but a bobber and worms on a size 10 hook should work.

I love that lake, it's really beautiful! I like to go there early or late winter to watch the avalanches on the far side of the lake.
