Doug "Big Fish" Burrows and friend Jack Meehan of Lake Tapps came out and fished with Jeff again.

Once again the Bar worked to produce some nice quality Mack's. Depths of 120 to 180 worked best. Worden Lures U20 flatfish on the outriggers produced the best. Silver Horde's Ace Hi Flies in glow colors and baited with a piece of Northern Pikeminnow also produced. As always fishing close to the bottom at speeds of 1.2 to 1.6 mph was the ticket.

Interesting stomach contents showing up in our fish recently have included small burbot, tiny snails and cigarette butt filters. Go figure...

It was a breezy morning and difficult to precisely hit the desired spots, but as the morning matured the breeze laid down. Seeing all the Offshore boats here on Chelan for the Poker Run was a bonus.

Summer mornings are pretty spectacular here on Lake Chelan.
