New to the Vancouver area and a trip up to Goose Lake was my first time trying my hand at trout fishing. We had pretty good luck catching both rainbow and cutthroats. Throughout the afternoon we did well pulling trout from the shallows with small spinners and kastmasters. Things slowed down in the evening as the fish seemed to zero in on topwater flys. Landed 7 fish total for a successful trip.
