I went over to MarDon for a few days of fishing. My friends and I probably caught over 300 fish while we were there, we just sat right on the dock catching trout after trout on every cast.

We got tired of that and decided to go to the state park to try to catch some carp. That didn't work out so well...so I put on a big Rapala just to play around with not thinking anything...I got snagged and just about lost it. Next cast I thought I was snagged again...but no it takes off for the other side of the creek and just starts ripping off line. I fight and fight and finally bring in a nice 9 pound Large Mouth. This was one of the biggest bass of my life and the first big one I have caught in WA. I caught a bunch this size in Arkansas but catching one here was just insane, I was throwing out obscenities left and right.
