7/20/2013 8:38:00 AMI've found that using strips of perch meat can get you some bigger fish. I like strips that are 1-1/2 to 2 inches long and a little less than 1/4 inch wide. I drop shot them on 4 lb. test. 1/8 oz. dropshot sinker, 10 inches of leader and a number 4 dropshot hook. This setup seems to get bigger fish, I think it because the little ones can't get there mouth around the bait. There are some great numbers of big perch in Samm. Best of luck.

7/20/2013 9:53:00 AMI had a spot on Samammish about half way up on the west side that the fishfinder would be black with the number of fish. It was good for a couple of years in a row before I moved.
