My wife and I were up there this past weekend camping, we were fishing for Cutthroat Trout. Beautiful day, 80F not a cloud in the sky. We were on the bank near the outlet "day use only" area. We were casting Mepps silver + gold spinners single hook barbless. My wife caught two 4", and lost a 7" (we are thinking it was a Rainbow it was getting late into the evening and admittedly we could not see! Ha!). I had a couple nibbles, one 8" but lost it at the very last leg as I was reeling it up to the bank. Dang!

The area is simply stunning, going back I would probably take some powerbait and a wider variety of lures.
