I left early and got up there before most everyone else did. I used a little blow up boat to row around the lake. I saw several people fish from the shore. I saw a few guys using bobbers and a few others fly fishing. I tried the bobber with green power bait for an hour and a half. That didnt work. I swiched to worms and got my first trout on in 15 min. He was a small little guy. I let him go. I could have kept him but I wanted something bigger. I got one more bite and then nothing. It was getting warmer and all shade was gone by noon. I took off after that.

In the morning there were alot of trout jumping out of the water for flies. So they are in there.

As I was coming in I talked to a few others. They said the same thing, small trout most were C/R. It was fun. I saw several families fishing. I am going to take my son next time.

I think I am going to wait till later in the summer to go back.
