Went out Memorial Day with my Uncle to Lake Sammammish. Second time this year. Hadn't been fishing in a few years so it felt good to get out. On Lake Sammammish I like to bang docks and Dropshot 90% of the time and that is what we were up to today. Went to the West Side of the lake and began tossing at docks that sit in at least 20' of water. Caught a few dinks early which felt good. Trolled down the shoreline making casts and threw under a dock but did not like my cast so reeled in to recast and a huge shadow came out from under the dock and chased me. I was excited. I told my Uncle to hold the Ranger in position and threw under the dock again. Nothing. Decided to switch to a wacky rigged Senko and made 2 casts and nothing. Switched baits again and sprayed a little bang on and caught a nice toad. Close to my biggest on Lake Sammammish.
