Well i've been busy with stuff and i thought i'd post a report about baker lake, We fished all last weekend,
We started saturday morning at 430 fishing at the north side with Hootchies with smile blades and cured prawn.. Fished till about 9, Not a thing, we lost one fish and that was it.. It seemed pretty slow and nothin much going on for all boats, Ocassional fish there and here,
Sunday morning, 430 north side we started fishing again with smile blade hootchies and the 4 rods 2 rod each on the downrigger, Used prawn tails and still nothing. So about 730 i rembered that i bought some Fresh sand shrimp and i put that on and first 5 minutes.. BAM fish on reeled her in and bonker her a nice little hen, Put my line back in the water and 15 minutes later fish on! Got a nice buck, and i was done.
I noticed that a little difference can get you your limit, My dad stil used the prawns and couldnt get a single fish, Its very tough out there so keep fishin it till about 10 or 9 is when the bite dies down and good luck and tight lines
